Construction companies building the new corridors for METRO buses and trains need trained, qualified workers in many construction trades. To Qualify: Must be age 18 or older, legally qualified to work in the U.S., able to read English at an 8th grade level, and physically able to work outdoors in a construction trade.

Employment Assistance for Jobs with Contractors Building the New METRO Rapid Transit Corridors

This course meets part of the Associated Building Contractors (ABC) standards for admission to registered Apprenticeship Training which in turn, leads to Journeyman status and a career of higher-paying work in the construction industry.

Following completion of training, we will work with graduates to help you find a job with one of the construction companies building the expanded METRO system.

Applicants who do not qualifty for these construction jobs will be referred to our Central Employment Services for free employment assistance to locate other opportunities.

This is a joint collaboration between Career and Recovery Resources, METRO Solutions and The Emerald Group.
